Cosponsored with EAC (Evansville Arts Coalition)
“crossings…moves” uses theater, dance, music, poetry and the voices of immigrants as a way to start a conversation in various communities about the topic of forced migration and anti-immigrant attitudes. The footage comes from live performances in Schwedt, Germany made in July of 2023.
Ferolyn Angell is the daughter of a refugee. She is a Dance artist who has lived in West Central Minnesota since 1984. Her mother was forced to flee Germany in 1939 and was never able to return to her home.
Enjoy a screening of the film as well as a talk-back led by Ferolyn afterwards. There will be refreshments available.
